Apple Arcade has snagged a good few timed exclusives recently, including the Zelda-like Oceanhorn 2: Knights of the Lost Realm. Another such Apple Arcade release is Where Cards Fall, which dropped for the mobile platform last year. Developer The Game Band has now revealed that a Nintendo Switch and PC version of Where Cards Fall is in the cards in 2021.
Where Cards Fall is a beautiful looking “coming-of-age story” where you’re tasked with building houses of cards to recreate memories. From there, you’ll take pathways through dreamlike puzzles, exploring a person’s emotions during their high school years. This one looks wholesome and certainly worth exploring when it lands on Switch.
The team says that each house of cards has a distinct sense of place, and a new trailer definitely alludes to that. There looks like some decent variation in the location, look, and feel of each house as they contain unique memories.
In describing the game’s core features, The Game Band states there are 50 spatial puzzles included in Where Cards Fall for Switch and PC, and they’re intended to be challenging. The developer also says to expect tactile, accessible controls tailored to each platform and immersive audio containing an original soundtrack.
Where Cards Fall is set to drop on Switch sometime next year.
