Super Monkey Ball: Banana Mania Director physical digital edition editions Sega switch

Now that the September Nintendo Direct is behind us, we (likely) know just about everything of note that will be releasing on Switch between now and the end of 2021. There are plenty of exciting releases on the way – Mario Party Superstars, the Advance Wars remake, Super Monkey Ball, and plenty more are crowding in for a pretty packed Fall and Winter 2021. Of all of the games still set to release on Switch this year, how many are on your radar? Any day-one buys planned?

For me, Super Monkey Ball: Banana Mania is the only day-one buy that I am currently planning. Both of the original Super Monkey Ball games are some of my favorites of all time, so I’m of course going to be all over a remake with all sorts of tweaks and new content. Otherwise, I am looking forward to several other Switch games, like Mario Party Superstars, Pokémon Brilliant Diamond, another shot at Advance Wars, and a couple of others, though I’ll primarily be waiting on reviews and seeing what else is out for just about all of these (except, of course, for Super Monkey Ball: Banana Mania). I’m also looking forward to Metroid Dread, but I’m probably going to be waiting a while to get to that one.

What Switch games are you excited about for the remainder of 2021? Why? Will you pre-order any? Let us know your plans in the comment section below.
