Now that Nintendo’s E3 conference is out of the way, we take a look at the latest Third-Party titles…

This is the current list of confirmed Third-Party titles…

Aban Hawkins & the 1001 Spikes*

This downloadable title from Nicalis should be available close to Wii U launch.

Aliens: Colonial Marines

The game was shown in video form in Nintendo’s third-party sizzle reel, which may have been a mistake considering the recent/impending release of Prometheus. Why not ride on the hype like Microsoft did with Game of Thrones?

Assassin’s Creed III

Assassin’s Creed is finally making its way to a Nintendo home console, and what better way to start than with a \”back to basics\” approach.

Avengers: Battle for Earth

Batman: Arkham City – Armoured Edition

Batman finally works his way onto the Wii U in the definitive version of the game. It not only includes all DLC, but several exclusive game modes and scenarios.

Ben 10: Omniverse

Chasing Aurora*

Cloudberry Kingdom*

Darksiders 2

Dragon Quest X
Square-Enix have not revealed anything about the Wii U version of this title to date, except one small teaser saying that the game looked stunning.

Family Party: 30 Great Games

Nothing is known about this title, except that it appeared on Nintendo’s Wii U release list for launch, and is a mini-game compilation.

FIFA 2013

Injustice: Gods Among Us

Jett Tailfin

Just Dance 4
The Wii U version features an exclusive \”puppet master\” mode which Reggie demoed on stage.

Mass Effect 3

This title is expected to be unveiling during E3. It is developed by Bloober Team, and is nothing to do with the TV show of the same name, thank goodness.

Metro: Last Light
THQ recently said that the Wii U version of this game was on hold, likely due to their current financial crisis.

NBA 2K13

NHL 2K13

Project CARS

Rabbids Land
As a massive surprise to all Ubisoft also announced a new Rabbids mini-game compilation for Wii U launch.

Rayman Legends
Rayman is back in another classic 2D side-scroller, this time Wii U exclusive!

Rise of the Guardians: The Video Game
Not much is known about this game ezxcept that it is based on a DreamWorks animation.

Runner2: Future Legend of Rhythm Alien

Scribblenauts Unlimited

Scribblenauts returns, but gives Max the ability to not only use words, but to create anything with visuals…

Sega All-Star Racing Transformed

Sega confirmed this morning that this title will land on Wii U this holiday alongside the other versions. Sonic on a Nintendo console? Shock.

Shin\’en Project*
This title is still wrapped in mystery, but Shin\’en revealed the other day that it will launch alongside the Wii U towards the end of the year.

Sports Connection

This Wii Sports clone was unveiled at Ubisoft’s conference and will be a Wii U launch title.

Tank! Tank! Tank!
Not much is known about this surprise title from Namco, but it looks like it may feature a similar competitor-reaction video to Starfox 64 3D

Tekken: Tag Tournament 2

The Pinball Arcade*

Toki Tori 2*

Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Online*

Trine 2: Directors Cut
Trine 2 recieved a lot of attention when it launched on PS3, 360 and PC, but this Wii U Directors Cut promises to be the best version yet.

Your Shape 2013

Ubisoft confirmed that their fitness title will land on Wii U this holiday season.

Arguably the most exciting game to come out E3 this year. A Wii U exclusive survival horror game from Ubisoft, formerly known as Killer Freaks From Outer Space. The game is set in London in 2012 where a Zombie outbreak occurs. Not only does it make innovative use of the controller with single and online gameplay, but also lacks save points, and checkpoints. If you leave your current game, your character dies and you must start building up your XP again. Sounds awesome!
