The cult-classic Neo Geo frisbee game Windjammers is arriving on the Nintendo Switch eShop later this year. The announcement trailer was shown during the Windjammers Global World Disc Throwing Championship at EVO 2018.

Originally released in 1994, Windjammers is a competitive, one-on-one disc-tossing game. The goal? Score on the other player’s net. With throw-curving, special moves, and even quick dives, there’s a huge amount of strategy to it all.

The Switch version of the game is identical to the PS4 and PS Vita ports that came out last year. It includes a bunch of enhancements like selectable mini-games and a full online multiplayer system. Previous to this, the only re-release of the game had been for the Japanese Wii Virtual Console in 2010. DotEmu is responsible for the most recent ports, and they’ve also been supporting an esports scene for the game that has only been getting bigger and bigger with time.

A physical release has yet to be confirmed for Windjammers.
