Publishers ININ Games and Studio Artdink have announced that RPG WitchSpring3 Re:Fine – The Story of Eirudy will launch on Nintendo Switch with a physical and digital release date of August 13, 2021 in North America and Europe. We previously detailed this game’s assorted special physical editions with Strictly Limited Games, most of which are still available. The title is part of a Korean franchise from Kiwiwalks that began life on mobile devices, but this entry stands alone and is targeting everyone who enjoys a good RPG, emphasizing its quality storyline and Japanese voice acting.
The premise of WitchSpring3 Re:Fine – The Story of Eirudy is that “reclusive witch” Eirudy lives with her enchanted puppets in the Misty Forest, away from humans that fear her, but then she meets an adventurous man named Adrian, which begins a story that will decide “the fate of the deities and humans of the continent Derkarr.” The game will offer different story paths in turn. Meanwhile, the combat system is turn-based, and defeating monsters enables Eirudy to absorb their vitality and transfer it into her dolls to give them life. A crafting system and customizable magic will also play into that somehow. A trailer released last month shows more of what to expect.
WitchSpring3 Re:Fine – The Story of Eirudy seems like an offbeat title, but that’s exactly what RPG players go for — so hopefully it garners lots of buzz ahead of its August release date.
