The World Rally Championship series is getting a new entry this year — and it just so happens to be coming to the Nintendo Switch.
The recently revealed WRC 8 features a wealth of content for rally racing fans. WRC 8 will include over 100 stages across 14 different countries, along with features such as new off-road physics, a new career mode, and a dynamic weather system. There will also be over 50 teams, along with weekly challenges and an eSports mode.
WRC 8 is being developed by Kylotonn (KT Racing), the same studio that delivered V-Rally 4 on Switch just a few weeks ago. While that port was late, it still managed to deliver the first truly authentic realistic racing experience on Switch. Here’s hoping the devs are able to hone their skills with this next project and it turns out to be an improvement. Another big hope is that the Switch edition releases day and date with the other versions. Speaking of which, WRC 8 is due out this September.
