In a recent appearance on the 8-4 Play podcast, the podcast of a Japanese localization company, Sean Velasco and David D’Angelo from Yacht Club Games stated that it would be “silly” not to create another Shovel Knight videogame. Though the team is currently hard at work on new content for the original Shovel Knight title, they promised work on a sequel as soon as development on the original wrapped up. The sequel, according tot he developers, could range from an NES-style game, all the way to an N64-style game.
