Yacht Club Games Presents stream Shovel Knight Cyber Shadow February 26 livestream

Yacht Club Games might be the greatest success story of any game developer of the past decade. They took one character — Shovel Knight — and made a commercial empire out of him, thanks both to his charming design and the fact that his video game is really freakin’ good. And it seems they are cooking up more stuff they’re excited to share with the world, because they’re doing a second edition of Yacht Club Games Presents on Feb. 26 at noon EST, 9 a.m. PST. It will include Shovel Knight news, Cyber Shadow news, and other surprises.

According to Yacht Club, 50,000 people streamed the first live broadcast they did like this last August, which was the event that revealed Shovel Knight Dig with co-developer Nitrome to the world. The success of that event is what has spurred another Yacht Club Games Presents.

So what are we likely to see at this event? Well, we’ll certainly get an update on Dig of some kind. I also think it’s very likely we will finally receive a release date for Cyber Shadow, developed by solo developer Aarne “MekaSkull” Hunziker, whom Nintendo Enthusiast interviewed last month. And maybe, just maybe, we’ll see what the deal is with Yacht Club hiring 3D designers en masse.

What do you hope to see at the Feb. 26 Yacht Club Games Presents?
