Nintendo has announced that more than 40 amiibo are supported within Yoshi’s Woolly World. Tapping an amiibo to the gamepad will unlock a new pattern/costume for Yoshi. An example of this functionality can be seen in the image above.

According to a new report, Pokemon and Toad amiibo will not be compatible, but nearly any other figure will be fair game.
