The Switch is a neat little system, but Nintendo has kept it very streamlined in terms of features. It’s not that the system isn’t capable of performing various tasks, it’s simply that the company has sought to keep its feature set devoted almost exclusively to gaming at this point in time. But of course, in the absence of official methods, that leaves curious tinkerers to use tech-trickery to add new functionality on their own.

One feature that a lot of Switch owners continuously request is that they’d wish Nintendo would add an Internet browser. The system does have one, albeit one that’s very basic and can only be accessed under very specific conditions. YouTuber Kevin Kenson came across one of the latest exploits that activate the hidden browser and was able to do something pretty interesting: order a ride from Uber. It’s probably not the first thing one would have in mind when browsing the Internet on their Switch, but it actually did work. Check out the video:

With the Switch being a hybrid system, having a native Uber app could actually be nifty. But, the system still has to rely on a Wi-Fi connection, which means you’d probably need to use your phone’s data plan anyway. Still, cool find, Kevin!
