Yu-Gi-Oh! Rush Duel release date

Konami has announced that the release date of Yu-Gi-Oh Rush Duel for Switch in Japan is Aug. 12, 2021. Preorders will go live starting April 21, with a special amiibo card bonus for all early purchases.

Yu-Gi-Oh! games usually come with physical bonus cards for the card game, and Konami will keep the tradition going for the Rush Duel Switch game. However, we still don’t know which cards will come included with the game, but it will include three cards as the limited first-print bonus. The amiibo card will be available as an early pre-purchase bonus.

The official title is Yu-Gi-Oh! Rush Duel: Saikyou Battle Royale!! and based on the silhouette from the teaser image, it will feature a game-original protagonist. As previously detailed, the gameplay will feature the new Rush Cards that play a lot like Speed Duels but with their own rules. For example, in Rush Duels, you can normal summon or set as many monsters as you want. You still need to Tribute Summon for anything 5-star and above, but the overall pace is much faster.

Yu-Gi-Oh! Rush Duel: Saikyou Battle Royale!! launches for Nintendo Switch in Japan. Yu-Gi-Oh! Rush Duel has not received any release date or localization announcement for the West from Konami.
